Fox is trying to tie this to the White House which I think is a little rediculous right now. Making wild speculation seems a little bitter, really. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised to find out the White House knows more about the nature of his resignation than he's letting on. Which is to say, the White House knows more about the true story behind Benghazi than they're letting on. I assume to protect the CIA, or the CIA's interests. Not to mention, if Obama came out and said Patraeus dicked up in Benghazi, he'd have been skewered for blame shifting even if the Congressional hearings finger Patraeus in the end. The saddest part is people will still call him a fall guy for Obama, guilty or not.
