Sears is only holding on due to old brand recognition. They're overpriced in EVERYTHING they do.
There are examples out there, these just aren't the ones to stand by. Any company that says they need to layoff on Nov 7th that didn't feel they needed to layoff on Nov 5th is full of horse crap. Conditions haven't changed. The tax cuts and sequester deal is just starting. If they could afford opperation on Monday they can afford it on Wednesday.
