Yeah, med bills are effing insane. My sisters boyfriend had some ultra rare blood disease where he wasn't able to create white blood cells and he luckily enough got put into a national study and they will take care of the costs. They had him on meds that actually cured the disease so he's just recovering and going through all the tests. I guess he's gained a ton of weight though from all the steroids he had to take. His bills were well over 100k.
