What is wrong with flip phones?

Right now, there isn't a single flip smartphone available from the majors: Blackberry Style has been discontinued by Sprint.

Does everybody really need a 4" brick? Is there no more hope for a flip form-factor?

AT&T has the "Double Time" Currently. Not a traditional flip but still a "Clamshell" type non the less. Looks kinda dumb to me though.

I'm quite surprised Verizion didn't pick up the Genesis. Its practically the EnvAndroid.

I was more interested in Android flip-phones for GSM networks.

Can't HTC or Samsung cook something up?
