Surf web and talk on Verizons network

by DialUpWifi    Dec 27, 2011, 8:42 PM

Ok so let me get some details out before I start asking questions. I currently have a Droid 2(Rooted) and I use Wifi Tether as my Internet at home. It works just fine for what I need on most days, with some exceptions. When I'm on a conference call, and I need to pull up an email on my computer, I obviously wont be able to. Ive found a few other reasons why I want to be able to browse the web and make a call at the same time but I wont bore you with the minor details.

I have Verizon service, and I live in a 3G area, no 4G availability yet. Montana is a little behind the curve. I've seen the HTC Thunderbolt browse the web and talk at the same time in my area, but are there any other phones that has that capability? Also, what makes the Thunderbolt so special to allow data and voice simultaneously?

Im not wining about the service, nor my phone. I mean come on, I get free unlimited Internet at home, thats awesome. I'm just looking for some answers!
