Does anyone know if Sprint plans on coming out with a new data service that might compete with AT&T's 'EDGE' svc?...and if so , how soon b4 it hits the market.

Sprint's existing 1xRTT service is very comparable with EDGE. Sprint's had practically the same data rates as EDGE for almost two years now - it's AT&T Wireless that is just now catching up!
