Question on GSM signal w/o 850...
I was looking in to buying the Moto E398 but can't seem to find a US version of the phone with GSM 850 instead of 900. Can anyone tell me how good the coverage is on the Cingular network, or GSM at all for that matter without the 850 frequency??? Is it worth buying a phone without 850 for use in the US??? Thanks!

That honestly depends on the carrier you intend to go with.
If you choose T-Mobile: The big T operates only in PCS (1900 Mhz), so not having 850 Mhz coverage is not dramatic.
If you choose Cingular: Then I would recommend getting a dual-band phone to fully enjoy the coverage. You could activate the European phone on Cingular... but quality will likely be more spotty, and signal strength will be significantly weaker. I honestly recommend minimally a dual-band phone for Cingular.
