Real World Analog Battery Performance

Hey. This is my first post and I'm finding it hard to get the answer to this elsewhere. I have a Kyocera 2235 which I don't like for one main reason. The battery can still die and shut off the phone even when the phone is plugged into the wall. WTF... This happens when making analog calls from my rural area and this phone has horrid battery performance in analog.

Can anyone tell me if other CDMA (Verizon) phones have a better reputation concerning this. Obviously I need great RF in the Analog spectrum. I was seeing that Nokias are good for this.

This battery problem is the one reason I am paying MCI 60 bucks a month for long distance phone calls. HELPPPP!!!!!

the one thing i would take in to consideration is how long youve had the phone for. the 2235 is a really good phone and kyocera has a very good reputation that if you send a phone off to get repaired, you get a new phone. so if you do send it off you wont get the same one back. i would see if you can get your issues with your battery covered under warranty. most of the time you can. like i said the 2235 is a pretty decent phone, at least in our market.
