Hi, I was wondering if somebody could suggest what is a best way to combine my dell pda with verizon cell. I mainly used my dell pda for contacts, calendar, task and to write notes and sync with my Outlook desktop. Instead of carrying both device , i was hoping to carry one only. My Verizon cell is provided as part of my work so I have to stick with this carrier. I am also on a budget and don't wish to pay extra monthly cost. Must have option is bluetooth capability. Options that are nice to have are: 1)able to access the internet via my home wifi and 2) be able to send pop3 email via my home wifi. Am I limited to Verizon Smartphones/PDS only? Or Can i just get a 3rd party phone and give the serial number to Verizon so they can transfer it. ...

I know this is a bit old, but assuming you are still looking:

Is your best bet. It is a windows mobile phone, but because it is older, it does not require a data plan. It also has Wifi and has bluetooth. The model is discontinued, so it might take awhile to find.

At present, you need an official Verizon Wireless device to run it on the network.

Either one has wifi and bluetooth. I'm not familiar with verizon's policies on activating customer owned equipment, but you may just want to go to your account online and try to do the ESN swap. You'd have web in wifi, but not otherwise. To get data access out of wifi you would need a data plan, probably costing $20- 30 a month.
