Most cell companies will not let subscribers accept collect calls.

no collect calls to cells becasue they do not track incoming calls, if a customer were to get a collect call and by the time they got the invoice they would want to know,who called them, blah blah blah..anyway to prevent problems they just make it so you can't call collect, hope this helps.

The reason we can't accept collect calls on a cell phone is the same reason we don't allow customers to use 900 numbers. The process involved requires reverse billing. On landline services this is available. But do to the technology involved it is 1. not economical for the provider. 2. More systems enhancements then the services are worth. 3. Opens up the ability for potentialy more cases of fraudulent activations. The Cost involved are greater then the benifits. So in a nutshell... No Collect Calls =)

Cheers.... =)
