Rumor Mill

Just a vent. I'm not a fan of telcos. They don't exist to provide service for their subscribers or jobs for their employees. They exist to produce quarterly profits for their shareholders. That said, LNP is not fair to them. Every service agreement since phone service began clearly states the phone number is their property and part of the service they provide. Like credit card numbers and email addresses. Change companies, get a new number and address and have to distribute it to creditors, friends, contacts, family etc. I just changed carriers myself a month ago and did it. Big deal.
