I was at a conference not long ago and happened to talk with some nice people from Verizon regarding the Blackberry Storm's lack of wifi.
I heard from the nice folks there that the Storm is going to get a replacement this coming October that will include Wifi.

The Blackberry Storm 2 will be released during the holiday season, between Thanksgiving and Christmas. At least thats the rumor going along in the Houston, TX headquarters

i've been waiting for verizon to hurry up with that. they've backed the "possible date" back 2 times and probably a third. sales for the storm have declined last 2 months in anticipation for the storm 2 but seems like it's forever before it gets here!
