YES, I am pretty sure that you can. I have a Siemens from T-Mobile pay-as-you go, and purchased a cool looking phone from a home shopping network that is GSM on either Cingular or T-Mobile's service and the SIM card worked just fine.

I did return the phone for other reasons, but it had nothing to do with the service or the SIM, it worked just fine.
