For customers who have been with us for years, specially customers who pay their bills on time everytime, are occasionally given a percentage discounted from their monthly billing, sometimes it's 8% feature access, 20% off on next billpayment or free 500 text messages added ontop of the months text minute restoration. Typically these discounts can't apply to physical purchases of phones, regardless of them being upgrades or activations, but if you go to the right place for your activation, they may give you an even bigger discount just for the activation itself.
