Oh...thats after the phone regulates voltage and then charges the battery to 3.7V

I tried mini USB (5V) with 500mA limiting and it said "charger not supported" but 550 worked. Do you know if MotoQ9c uses the protocol on USB because I've seen wierd things.

If you plugged the usb cable into one of those 120v to 5v usb charger plugs you can buy at walmart for $8 then that would answer your question if its a specific usb lockout feature.
