charging pads
has anyone heard of this, adapting the phone so it will charge without being hooked up to the charger. it has too be within 2 inches of the pad.

I've heard of charging pads for other things, but not for mobile phones, at least not yet. I know they exist for things like PS3 and 360 controllers. I wouldn't imagine it'd be too hard to convert it over for mobile phone use.

Yeah its not available yet. You need a special battery for your phone. The Pre is actually gonna be the first phone with that technology.
