AppleCare Protection Plan......WORTH IT????
I just purchased the IPhone 3G. Since, there's no insurance available I purchased the AppleCare Protection Plan. I haven't installed it yet because I wanted to ask if it was worth the $69.

There are rumors of the next-generation iphone being announced mid june, so you may want to hang on. But apple care is completely worth it! I got it for my macbook pro and since then i had to have the motherboard replaced and the screen, so i saved myself about £1000.

I got one at ATT and since there is not insurance offered for the iPhone at ATT, then this is a must. If your phone get's damage, then you can use this to get the same one or an upgraded version...
