easy contact list creation

I just received a new motorola i870 and need an easy way to create my address book all over. The store said they could transfer the data but couldn't connect to my sanyo sc8000.

Is ther an easy way to re-create my address book from my laptop and then send it to my phone

Connect phone to computer. Use bitpim. Problem solved as long as bitpim recognizes phone.
