I have the Kyocera Candid KX16. Can u replace the faceplates? If so how do u get the old one off?

Yes- There are replacement aftermarket faceplates-
as for the process try an few search engines-

try keywords like
Kyocera kx16 housing replacement
Kyocera kx16 dismantle
Kyocera kx16 faceplate removal/replacement

My husband & I were told by our service agent that if we used any faceplate other than what came on our Candid KX16 our warranty would be voided.

normally this is true. I replaced the faceplate on my z520a and the earpiece stopped working. $50 insurance claim... ouch. I think it's to avoid someone trying to hack the phone or, like Tim Allen, give it more power and then screwing up their phone and trying to blame it on some faceplate sweat shop mess-up. or if got dropped and the screen cracked, nope it happened while getting the faceplate removed.

I'd hate to see what the phone Tim worked on in the show would do.
