The Way of Charging A Lithium Ion Battery

Lithium ion batteries are now widely used in cell phones because of its highly efficient and environmental friendliness. While a lithium ion battery is being charged, ions are forced into the anode and cathode of the battery by the electric current. The process of charging is simple if you follow some simple precautions to insure safety and to maximize the life of the batteries. Always check the battery manufacturer's specifications before you charge a lithium ion battery. Improper charging may result in a serious fire hazard.

iPhones have LiIon (Lithium Ion) batteries, this will apply to them.
