Can anyone tell me what file types are compatible with a samsung SGH-a237 or tell me where I can find this information out? I need to know if jad or jar files can be transferred to my phone.

You could just try it and see, thats a pretty low level phone. You'll find out real quick. If its games downloads and it doesn't work then call your provider (att?) and get a refund.
If its any kind of sophisticated work type file, then I doubt it will on that phone.
Oh hey look at your games properties and see if they are .jar or .jad that will tell you,, should be under options.
