ATT stated LTE trials to be next year, with deployment in 2011. . .does anybody actually believe tha
I find this hard to believe, I just don't see any ambition from ATT. And if this does end up being true, probably no more than 50 metro areas will have LTE before the end of 2011.

Sort of.
I feel in my heart that att took such a beating over this 3g thing (and its not that 3g was perfect anyways 3g to 2g handoffs dropped on many phones), that I think they will roll a total nationwide network (80%+ coverage) in 2012.
my view:
2g = Windows 2000 (worked)
3g = vista (shiny but ok)
4g = windows 7 (seems to be working better)
