In your opinion, which is the worst phone ever for your carrier?
As a Sprint rep, I feel it's my duty to nominate the HTC Touch Pro 2.
...
AT&T-overall worst IMO-LG neon
worst value-any iPhone
worst selling-almost any palm phone we've ever had
...
as a sprint rep i would say i have seen more issues with the palm pre then any phone
...
T-Mobile, I'm gonna go way back and nominate the Motorola C332 (circa 2003 if I remember correctly).
The phone was notorious for bad battery life, or no battery life. Since the battery was built into the phone itself, if you needed a new battery, you had to replace the entire phone.
I used to work for T-Mobile Customer Service at the time, and would receive TONS of calls for exchanges and complaints on that phone.
...
As an AT&T rep I have to say the LG Incite was horrible. The LG Neon was bad, and the Sharp FX is horrendous. But the Quickfire takes the cake. I mean, when you put the charger in upside down, which was very easy to do, it quickly caught on fire!
...
Recent T-Mobile phones that give me headache (I do Tier II PDA): HTC HD2, Huwaei Tap, Nokia Nuron, and the Blackberry Pearl 8220. 🙄
...
i have the htc hd2 and as a windows phone it dose suck....bad. but after slapping android on it it would have to be one of the best phones out. current specs are as follows.
2.3 gingerbread
overclocked to 1.5 ghz
free wifi tethering
full flash support
great battery life is great now.
hspa 7.2 (fast data)
yes stock its ragged but now i will not need to upgrade for a wile.
...
Blackberry 8350i.
I can't believe noone from sprint/nextel hasn't posted this phone yet. It is the most disturbed phone I have ever had the misfortune of activating. Or troubleshooting. Or seeing.
I mean, what kind of phone recommends a factory default reset as *normal* troubleshooting steps!?
...
Who tried to turn a Wii-mote into a cell phone?
...
dj89Mar 18, 2011, 3:52 PM
This probably inspired the Wii-mote.
...
I stand corrected, but still. Reaction is still WTH.
...
But it is such a fine phone 😳 . At least we get to stay in close contact with those who buy this Direct Connect wonder. I want my Direct Connect. More important than texting, call quality or any data service.
Looks good in the hand.
...
As a Sprint Rep I'd have to nominate the Palm Pixi, Palm Centro, Palm Pre... Do you see a pattern here?!
...
good call, it didn't help that they claimed 15 days of stand-by for a battery that didn't last 15 minutes.
I haven't trusted a phone that doesn't have a replaceable battery since. **looks over at Sprint's Upstage

and the iPhone's
...
Sprint. palm pre. HORRIBLE PHONE!
...
dj89Mar 18, 2011, 2:43 PM
True, and it has its own category in our troubleshooting tool, but I've had quite a few people vouch for it. Still waiting on someone to say something positive about their tp2.
...
Mirror images of a problem. The Pre had a quality OS but the hardware was sh!t, the TP2 was built with quality hardware but Windows OS was always a huge, worthless pain
...
I'm still waiting for someone to come out and say they love their palm and wish that another would come out. well guess what, they won't. why? cause HP bought them since they sucked so bad.
doesnt say much for HP tho..

I LOVED MY PALM CENTRO!!!! Palm were leaders in the industry! They had the first touch screen (I think) After that phone I got a Samsung Omnia...that was a mistake.
...
Samsung Moment.
Seems like every time someone calls about that damn thing, it's FUBAR.
...
VZW - Samsung Knack (seriously, how are old people supposed to know what to do about the blue screen?), BB Storm, HTC Touch Pro
...
honestly have to agree with the samsung moment. its always something with that phone, battery, keyboard, screen. no matter what its most likely gonna be a replace or repair call with the smasung moment
...
BB Storm...good call.

Verizon?
The Citrus, hands down.
...
Nah, the devour was a lot worse than the citrus as far as crappy android phones go.
...
No way! the i680 gets my vote. Full of promise and terrible phone. Replaced as soon as Motorola could. Hinges, speakers, fail screens.
Not the Motorola builds any good phones.
...
still not as bad as the clutch for nextel, thing is broke defined
...
Ky82Mar 19, 2011, 10:33 PM
VZW - LG Chocolate...and they sold like we were giving them away! And I swear to you every last one of them came BACK!
...
For Sprint it will be the HTC Touch Pro 2 and Palm Pre
...
MyTouch 3G Slide.
I've heard more horror stories for this phone than any other. 😳
...
🙄 Nah, The Motorola Cliq series is way worse. Also the Motorola Charm, or really any phone with Motoblur, some of them work fine after rooting tho lol 😛 Also the Samsung Gravity T but its not as bad.
...
I think SOMEONE is just a little sour at Motorola, hmmm?
...
Well Mr. No Sales, maybe if they ever figured out how to make a decent phone without all the bloatware I might recommend one of their devices 😈
...
OW! My pride!
Root your phone and you don't have to worry about bloatware. 😎

Readin's for sissies and liberals! I get my information through straight knowin' it!
Arrrr, matey, I'm now a pirate. 😛
...
Maybe that's why you rarely make any sales lol
...
😳 Shivver me timbers!
