I'm convinced...
That nobody listens anymore when they are on the phone....at least when they are calling somebody.
The name of the store I work for sounds NOTHING LIKE WAL-MART
Stop asking for the Deli.
Stop asking for the men's department.
STOP ASKING ME ABOUT FINANCING....
The numbers for either store are nothing alike. Not in the phone book, not online.
When I have to answer the phone with three opening lines about PHONE SERVICE....you would think people would get the point.

Sprint has an IVR for their corporate stores that I would think generally weeds that crap out. Guess you don't work for Sprint?

I used to work for GameStop, and at the time we had to answer the phone 'Thank you for calling GameStop, where we buy, sell, and trade used games! How can help you today?'
I would constantly get people asking, 'yeah, is this ___ Pizza? ... Really? 😳
