for t-mobile reps... 👀 ... what is the upgrade policy?? is it every 2 years?? or how long do you have to wait to be able to upgrade?? just wondering... 🤭

It used to be 2 years for a full upgrade but many of our plans are now offering the full upgrade after only 1 year. I'm in new sales but I often speak with our customer care reps and hear about 1 year upgrades.

So, any customer care reps on here?

because i have the 750 fam. plan but i sort of took over my friends line and its not that i don't like the phone but i want to be able to upgrade to the samsung galaxy s when it comes out... 😕

Without seeing your account, I wouldn't be able to determine exactly what you're eligible for. There are far too many factors to pricing based on tenure, situation, etc. Your best bet is to just call on the release date after 10am Eastern and ask a rep to look for you.

But a huge majority of our customers are eligible for early upgrades, not entitled, but eligible.

As far as I know, if you are switching from a regular phone to a smart phone T-Mobile will upgrade you at almost any time. (just a rumor)
