Seriously? That is epic awesome! Maybe he set some parent control that does this somewhere on his account?

Or his daughter(I am betting this one) was messing with her phone in ways she shouldn't have, and set his number to be CC'd on all sms... although not really sure how or where you would do that.

Maybe you could provide more info, like carrier, phone make and model?

I just went through the default settings on a verizon phone (EnV2) there is no CC option that I can find that you can set to auto-complete.

Is she using some form a smartphone (blackberry, WM, Palm) I could see one of those having the option.

Honestly, I would call tech support and have them look at the network settings. I don't know what would cause this, but I dont see anything in verizon's UI that would do it.

So...because she's 17, she's not a stupid kid anymore? 🤣

Ok, now, down to business. Phone model would be appreciated, however, there may be a way to fix this. I sounds like it may be something simple, so here's my take:

She's not doing it by "accident". Either she's sending to everyone in her phonebook, and repeating the same behavior with a simple "Reply All", or she's using an advanced device (Windows Mobile, Blackberry, or Palm, with a program that allows the entire phone book to recieve any text messages, and doesn't realize that she's been doing that. Easiest way to check would be to verifiy usage over the last month. If there is an abnormal amount of messaging, this is likely the cluprit, doubly so if the messages are t...

I suggest doing a feature reset on the daughters phone. Most phones have a reset to default feature.
