Radioshack is already selling them with the service agreement. Att is going to pick it up soon as well.

The $60 per month is the same price ATT charges for thier data card or a tethering data package for a smartphone. So it would work out the same.

$100.00 for the laptop, $36 activation fee, $60 for the first month's service, and $175 for an etf on the 31st day.

So $371 + taxes... 😉

Bet they come up with a term of the contract that if you cancel before the end of the contract you will be responsible for the difference of the subsidized cost.....which would make sense to me.

That's complete and utter BS I would never pay 60$ a month for 5 gigs. A blu ray movie is 22-26 gigs. A low quality DVD is 633 megs, 10 of which is OVER 5 gigs. Any new game will be several gigs. Let's say you want to install oblivion, world of warcraft, and spore.. give or take that is 5 gigs. Air Cards are BS unless you're on a grandfather plan or have some awesome employee plan.

Why would you download, and install a game over the internet? Buy the CD/DVD e-tard...

I have a creeping suspicion that it may be an illegal activity he is describing...

Regardless, aircards weren't designed for that use. They are not meant to be a primary internet service. Get U-Verse, DSL, or Comcast...they are cheaper and faster...

there are alot of people who do not live inside city limits....and thus their internet options are normally limited to dial up or wireless cards....for some there is the option of satelite internet as well. So it is not that easy for some to just purchase cable internet or we would...geez 🙄

Dude they are going to me netbooks not gaming rigs. The service is not designed as a primary connection.
