Don't feel bad, I'm a USCC agent, and I can't take payments either. I get custies wanting to pay their Sprint, Virgin and Cinggy phone bills (we're also a RadioShack) and they get so angry they want to speak to my manager.

Me: I'm a managing partner in this store, how can I help you?

Custie: You mean there isn't a manager in this store?

Me: I'm one of the managing partners, one of the owners, how can I help you!

Custie: I wanna speak to the corporate offices.

Me: Here's the number.

Custie: Let me use your phone, mine doesn't work. (as the phone rings, we aren't supposed to tie up both lines on purpose, so guess what the answer is)

Me: I'm sorry, we don't have a public phone.

Custie: This is horrible customer ...

With you saying that - my favorite is

Cust - Why is my bill $50 higher than usual

Me - Well sir let me take a look at that for you. Oh well I see you called 411 about 28 times. So, $1.79 a pop that equals $50.12. Thats why your bill is higher than usual.

Cust - I didnt make those calls. I dont ever call 411.

Me - Ok sir I understand your frusteration, I have the times the calls were made if that would help you.

Cust - NO - I didnt make those calls and im not paying for them.

Me - Sir, these calls just dont pop up on bills, you have to call 411 in order for you to be charged for them. Did maybe someone have access to your phone and possibly made these calls.

Cust - No, the only person that has access to my phone is my t...

I know with Cingular, you can send a txt to 46645 (Google without the E) With what your looking for and the area code, state, or city.

Ex -

Pizza Hut 28806

Google will then send you a text with Names, Addresses, and Phone Numbers.

Its awesome because you only pay the text rate. So, .15 to send and .15 to receive each page. Usually you get about 1 - 3 pages
