Does anyone know if you will be able to PTT with other carriers?

unfortunately no... not unless everyone else adopts the kodiak system 🙂

They say it can't work, but I say they'll make it work in the future just like MMS.

no cingular ptt it like our mobile to mobile it only applies to our network. The same with nextel/sprint
