So, here's a question for you call center reps...

I enjoy reading your rants and raves about terrible customer experiences, but I'm curious as to why the word customer is abbreviated as cx. Why the x?

and I very rarely see this. Usually see 'cst' or "cust". Couldn't explain the use of cx....maybe extreme finger fatigue from typing all day. After all, they are right next to each other. 😉

I wish I knew..just something that stuck with me during training. Easier to type as well since they are right next to each other.

I've asked around at my center and it's just cause. It will mean either cust or cancel from what I've come to understand.
