I just want to know....
How someone can expect to be allowed to do a change of ownership when they are neither the person who currently owns the account nor the person into who's name and social the account is going to, and they are not listed as an authorized contact on either account, nor have power of attorney for either account. 🙄

My mother-in-law just went through problems with that. Dad is in an alzheimer's facility and does not communicate. There was a fraudulent charge on her credit card so a new card was issued. She called the wireless carier to change the credit card and they would not do it for her (in spite of her having power of attorney & knowing his SSN).
Not exactly customer service! She is likely changing to another carrier due to the frustration.
