Dear customer,
I am a technician. I speak English, and I measure time in valid units. When I ask you, "when was the last time you could _____." and you say "a minute" I am going to take you literally. If you haven't been able to _____ for three weeks, then say three weeks.

right my favorite is
"My phone wont turn on."
okay, You are in Utah and I am in Texas what do you think I can do about that?

Its the most confusing thing in the world... some people say minute meaning some time... which just bugs the he77 outta me!!!

I actually asked a customer today "and how long would you say a minute is?"
And she said "Three weeks."

Apparently so... Or culture is getting to them. They might be watching too much Jersey Shore and 16 and Pregnant.
