or the classic (he or she cannot speak a lick of english) and ask if there is someone there who speaks better english!!

I had a customer ask me at the end the call while in training,
C:"...You sound like a nice white girl."
M: "Aha, I'm not white..."
C: "Italian...?"
M: "Actually, I'm black..."
C: "Ha ha, really?!" 😳
M: "...yup."👀
I got a wee bit in trouble afterwards for talking about race over the phone. Aha, good ol' days of training.
