I've decided to give them what they want
I am giving ppl the free no-reception phone and just dealing with the fall out. Old ppl don't want new phones so I do everything I can to talk them into keeping their old one, even if it doesn't work anymore.
So far the free phone ppl are about 50/50. I think some deal with it and some pay more for a good phone.
The old ppl think I am the best salesperson ever! They think I'm being honest and keeping their interest at heart. However, I have developed an interesting following of non-paying useless ppl. For example, they just keep coming back asking the same question: my phone will stay charged for an hour, ok just plug it in its ok.
