FYI, if you or your customers are complaining about the 650 acting funny, provide them with a 32k sim and it should clear up the issues.

The Treo 650 may have interoperability issues with Gemplus 64K SIMs.
Situation
The following symptoms have been noted when the Treo 650 is paired with a Gemplus 64K SIM. These issues appear in 25% to 33% of units deployed with this configuration.
”žh The voice mail retrieval number is replaced by a corrupted number that contains mostly zeroes that cannot be edited.
”žh The device may power cycle on its own, sometimes continuously.
”žh The screen and keyboard lock up and the device will not respond to user inputs.
These problems tend to appear when one of the following two procedures are performed:
”žh The device has power cycled following the OTA Activation Download delivery or¡K
”žh The user tries a hard reset or battery...
