Me: good morning welcome to sprint how may i help you?
Cust: I wanted to get an upgrade and i called sprint and they told me to come to the store and get whichever phone i want and it would be free.
Me: ok lets jus start by making sure you qualify for an upgrade before we get to the phones.
**while i start my system customer roams around and grabs the treo 800 and asks: " I want this for free"
ME: ok sir i'm checking your upgrade as we speak and if you do qualify for the ful discount that phone is 300 and u get 100 mail in rebate
Customer(angrily): u must be crazy if u think im gonna pay 300 for a phone.
**so after checking his upgrade i find out he does not qualify for a discount** o crap here i go

Yes, it does at times take the patience of Job to handle a customer with an attitude like this, but treating them well and working to turn their attitude can pay dividends.
All that being said, man, what a jerk coming in with an attitude like that!
