Almost, just not really...
So I had this customer once...when i first started working for AT&T. He was and elderly man, probably in his late 70's early 80's. He came up to my kiosk with his cordless phone from home and asked if i could activate it.
I kindly said no... it didnt quite work that way...

I wish i could have activated it for him âšī¸
He seemed so lost...I felt bad... đ

I see a similar thing about once a year, an elderly person will come in with an old house phone looking to "have it fixed" or to replace the battery.
The last one, I had to politely tell her that my mom bought the same exact phone at Wal-mart for about $20. Still insisted on having it fixed. I repeated that it wasn't a phone we made, sold, or otherwise serviced and even if it was it would be cheaper to buy a new one at Wal-mart than to have the thing repaired.

I hope I never get old.
