come here because his phone got wet and isn't working and had an older phone he wanted activated on his line.

I tried looking up his account but he was in our older billing system which I don't have access to anymore, so I called NSS to take care of the swap.

(side note NSS is awesome)

I gave her the esn, and it came up lost/stolen. So of course, couldn't be activated.

I asked him about it, because initially he had told me this was HIS old phone. But after I told him about the red flag he said "I uh, I mean a friend gave it to me"

hmmmmmm.....sounding a little fishy to me.
