November..... WILL IT PICK UP???
Okay so this month from what i have heard locally is not doing well.,.. AT ALL. I am barely trending 100% normally by this time i am sure i will hit, if not already have met quota. Now unless black friday starts this huge rush i am not sure i will hit, and i am positive my entire market will miss as well as my store will inevitably miss too.
For all those who are on this site, is this a country wide thing? or maybe north east or possibly even as narrow of a market as say western pa eastern oh???

Just in case you haven't worked retail before.
Black friday is HUGE. When i was working for radioshack, I worked one day on the entire month of november... black friday, and i made my numbers in one day.

Yea, but thats radio shack.. not a corporate sprint store.. I cant see anyone coming in HERE on friday.. theres no point, and no deals going on..

i aggree, i am not new to retail, however black friday seems to be just another day at a retail store, we have to open up 2 hours early and i dont see the point

same here, about 100% to goal on profit and total activations, but about 50% to goal on new activations. I guess everyone already has a cell phone đ

I hit my quota a week ago and still going strong. Novemeber has been a great month so far with no end in sight!!

I think people quit spending in the beginning of the month because they are saving all of their money for holiday shopping. Of course, then they hold tight thinking someone else will give them a better deal once the holiday season starts.

Its slow up here in Canada too, except for complainers we still have them đ

It has been exceedingly slow this month. Part of it is people saving or waiting for Black Friday and some incredible deals that may or may not happen. On top of that, I work for a Cell One dealer and many customers are waiting for AT&T to take over on December 9th before they upgrade or activate.
