I laugh and told him that company. He says I am misinformed. What do you think?

I think you're correctly informed. In fact, just earlier a TMS rep came up asking about a job with our indirect agent. I laughed at him, said 'not a chance', and walked away 🤣

Show him the story online of where Fox 5 found that they were dumping peoples' info into some random persons garbage can. Yeah, info with names, SSNs, CC numbers, DL numbers, and the like were in some random persons trashcan outside one of our lovely Long Island malls.

If you accept their offer, you should commit suicide right in front of him, and your whole family, because you just sold your soul to the devil!

p.s. i don't work for them and i've never been in one and i might/might not like it if I ever did but all that that means is I shouldn't shop there if i don't like it... if somebody else likes it then that's on them

It's not one incident they're basing their mistrust on. Many people in this industry and others have had the misfortune of working near a Mobile Solutions dealer, and some have mistakenly bought things from them.

They are beyond shady. They will tell you outright lies for a sale, and even worse commit fraud to gain sales. If you've ever purchased something from them, you should monitor your credit reports very carefully.

if it's more than one i agree but i hate it when someone has one bad experience and claims that everyone in the organization is the spawn of satan

example enron... not a bad company, just a few people screwed everything up and hurt a lot of people, not everyone in the company is the devil

payday loans... hate 'em because they aren't a solution to what the people are looking for but i'm sure they serve a purpose (just can't find one in my slightly prejudice (sp?) eyes)

any one got other examples?

payday loans are stupid, but they're not bad. It's just like pawning something and paying the weekly interest forever just so they dont sell it and you end up paying five times what a new one would've cost you and you'll still never get it out of hock.

Meh.. once in a while ill need an extra 50 or 60 bucks to make it to payday..
I can get 100 bucks from them for 115.. far less than overdraft charges from my bank.

They have their place.. you just need to pay it back.
My paychecks dont come in on set days of the month, so sometimes Ill have to go 2 weeks with like 100 bucks in the bank, that doesnt really work too well..lol

That's why I wouldn't call them bad. They do have their uses. Most people don't use them wisely.

I hate Mobile Solutions because of the shady crap I had to deal with from them from pissed off customers. Something as simple as "I bought this car charger from them and now I keep getting charged for it on my credit card. I have now been charged 4 times for a $13 charger." Do the math. That's retarded. And the fact that they would walk up to my VERIZON customers and say, they will screw you over, she doesn't know how to do her job, come over to my booth and I will give you a way better deal." I once stopped at another mall, completely different one than mentioned above and they tried to sell me 5 phones. My credit check was approved for 3 at another location, since I refused to give TMS my info. He said, I'll pay for the deposit out of my ...

Don't effing do it.

That place is corrupt, fraudulent, very poorly organized, and very poorly run.

It is imperative that you stay as far away from that place as you possibly can.

Heres the deal. TMS being the largest most well known indirect will always get bad press.

As far as the rumors and fraud that goes on at some of the stores. I'm sure it happens. Currently there have been a ton of external hires, well known in the wireless industry. The one major one would be Buddy White.

He's bringing a different attitude and mentality to the company. Sure there are some markets that may be doing shady practices, the Long Island location comes to mind. However in my market I can assure you none of the fraud against customers takes place. Stealing against the company was running wild. Thats been fixed and I'm confident that the team we have in place will ensure that most of the problems people have come to mind when t...
