If you had to choose one carrier and one phone from that carrier, which would it be and why???

Mogul from Sprint---
#1 data network + wifi, win moble 6, touch screen, slide-out kb & 2.0 mp camera.

i used to work for sprint and now i work for alltel...the mogul had just come out when i was leaving sprint but i think the alltel version is the utstarcomm 6800...it has all the same features u just mentioned except that its black

same phone, different carrier & color... but I'll stick with Sprint as a national carrier vs Alltel

I have limited experience, but I think I have to agree. We've been out of this phone since I started working here and just got it back in; after playing with it just a bit, I can see why people love it so much.

Good size, too.

Verizon - best network, puts more money into network reliability that anyone else by far - over $6 billion last year.

Motorola Q9M - the smartphone that has it all - music, stereo bluetooth, great web and email access - for those of you who point out that it does not have Wi-Fi, WHO CARES!!!!!!!!

there's one gap in your reasoning: motorola, or as many on here say, motocrap.

the network, eh. I sell for 'em, b/c where I am, they are king. I have sprint, and they're not bad (that AND I can twist their arm for free services/discounts/my plan has fantastic overages: .05 per minute.)
