I have a unique sales position within a wireless consultant company. Our clients utilize our services to streamline the wireless needs of their business accounts. Most of these clients are under Sprint/Nextel plans and have 50-10,000 phones. The employees of these companies are entitled to discounts with Sprint/Nextel and my job is to roll out a program to attract new activations by marketing to these employees.

Does anyone here have any specific experience marketing to a company's employee base? Because of the service we deliver to the companies, I anticipate our clients to be cooperative in allowing us to get through to their employees but it's a new thing for me. most of the time they will let you set up a presentation day at the location and send out a memo letting people know you will be there. if that is not possible i would put together a flyer with your contact info and see if you can get it distributed.

I actually sell to Sprint business clients.. and if there's one thing we REALLY need is a much better Nextel promotion! The whole "We'll offer you a free phone for $49.99" thing doesn't really cut it. I think that business clients should not have to worry about MIRs, it should be overlay or nothing.
