Anyone know where I can get some free Brew apps, or a mobile web browser that is faster than the build in Moto/brew browser, for the E815?
It's days like this that I really miss Java, when I'm trying to search the mobile web, and can't find squat for Brew, well, at least no free stuff anyway.
...
I thought BREW eliminated the possibility of installing apps except through your carrier :-/ maybe not...

I found a place where I could download some stuff, but all of it was crap. It seems that too many people are skipping Brew for Java, and while I don't blame them, it sucks, because I have no plans to go back to GSM. Which means that I'm shafted it seems.

There is always sprint right? I know they do for a fact because I use to have them java apps work great I used opera mini all the time... 😁
...
Sprint is a good cell company it has many different variety of everything and it works great in almost everything that has to do with reception, service, etc i love using the internet it is very helpful too. 😁
...
im glad sprint didnt go the brew route, GO JAVA!
...
Brew games are a lot better then any java game.
Brew allows direct access to device hardware were as java limits you to the J2Me specs

There are a couple of JAVA apps that I would love to have, Google Maps being the number one. Download once and you're done. With BREW you have a monthly subscription $4.99 which beats VZNavigator at $9.99 but still, once you pay you should own it. I really miss my Blackberry but can't afford the data pkg that Verizon requires you to carry. 😕

Hi,
You can get free BREW applications at www.ddnmobile.com site. I found few brew apps like YAT, and Umundo mobile at the ddnmobile.com site.
You can easily download these free Brew apps from ddnmobile.com site, and enjoy.
