Is the BREW OS working better than it was in the Spring?

Aug 4, 2011, 12:02 AM
I read some sad accounts of BREW phones being unstable, this past Spring. I was pondering the HTC Freestyle for my teenagers.

Does anyone have any good (or bad) experience to share on using these phones or BREW OS?

Older topic, but read the reviews for the Freestyle on the AT&T website. Not exactly singing its praises. Mostly talk of freezing and locking up..

Exactly what I have been seeing. On paper, it seems like the HTC Freestyle should be a great smartphone-like feature-phone that does not require a data plan.

Most new phones will have some problems. So I keep thinking that these bugs will be sorted out. But BREW is a tender young operating system.
