T-Mobile Equinox and "invalid application" for Google Maps (solved))

Using the phone's native browser, I was getting an error which said "invalid application" when I tried to accept the download.

I tried accessing it from Opera Mini, which features an intermediary screen for downloads (showing file name, type, and selected download location). Google was trying to feed me the .PRC version of Maps (for Palm) instead of a .JAR (java install file). CNet's download service also offered the .prc version, even though they have it listed as a general phone application.

The good news is, GetJar.com had the correct .jar file, and that installed and ran just fine.
