thanks for the e911 piece. it was very useful and informative. I am currently doing additional research on the status locally in Colorado. I may in fact be able to get coverage in a prominant local weekly newspaper.
You mentioned that some of the funds have been diverted from psap development. I had contacted the local NENA chapter president and she says not in CO. she stated they have received all money they were supposed to. According to her the funds are distributed via a formula FCC determined through the local board. Here in CO we have over 40 PSAPs. I would like to learn were you information comes from regarding the diversion of funds.
I am waiting for replies from the state emergency management folks to learn how...
