    The correct way to use the UL tag is:

    <ul>
    <li>item one</li>
    <li>item two</li>
    </ul>

    I think it would be unnecessarily confusing, as underlines usually mean links. Modern writing style guides recommend italics instead of (or at least interchangeable with) underlining, so there's no real need for underline. I think it's slightly more user-friendly to reserve underlines for links.

    it's Unordered List.


    In other words, the bulleted version of a list instead of the numbered, which would be the < ol > tag.
