Phone Finder Options

Hey Rich,

How about adding some options to search for mega-pixel camera phones, or search by camera sensor (for those that distinguish between CCD and CMOS)? What about being able to search for phones with specific Bluetooth profiles, for those phones that don't offer full Bluetooth functionality? Just some thoughts. Love the site! (It's hard to improve when you're the best.) Thanks! 😉

I'm definitely planning to re-arrange the camera info to track that better, and there are more detailed search options planned for the Phone Finder. It's very likely that you'll be able to search on resolution soon.

As for CCD vs. CMOS, that probably won't happen. I do mention that when the info is readily available, but that doesn't always mean what people think it does. There are newer CMOS sensors starting to hit the market that are every bit as good as CCD. CCD does usually = good, but CMOS does not necessarily = low-quality. In fact, some very high-quality standalone digital cameras have CMOS sensors these days. The technology has come a long way.
