We are a grassroots organization that is interested in preventing needless damage to the environment from old cellular phones and their corrosive elements. We are in the process of setting up distribution centers to take in, process, and safely dispose of old cellular phones to prevent their arrival in a landfill.

This initiative is still in its very early stages of development to check back at that website often for an ever expanding information base on this topic.

If my friend signed a 3 yr contract with rogers, and is within first thirty days, can he revert to a 2yr or 1yr without any adverse consequences? Or does Rogers even have a buyer's remorse period?

Speaking of buyers remorse periods and definite changes watch out for Aliant! They sneakingly changed their policies a bit or do not have some in the first place, they screwed me over when care told me when I purchased a new phone on a new 3 yr term at the end of 2 yr term now that NOTHING would change, but instead new 6.95/month "system access fee" that cannot be creditted back according to 3 reps as well since they do not offer ANY kind of buyers remorse period on upgrade equipment or the option of reverting your contract once purchased they pretty much screw you over. They make ATT Wireless look good! Oh and instead early termination being 20.00 dollars/month max 200.00 now its 20/month amt of months in contract another nice little way...

I was wondering if there is a way to use a Nokia 8390 that was on FIDO on Rogers?????? I am with them now and I would just use my own SIM card but it there a lock on it?

Is anyone out there using/have any experience with the SE T616 in Canada, the phone does basically everything I want it to, but the T610 suffers from tremendously poor RF performance. Not very useful if your cellphone performs poorly as a phone. I hold the vague hope that the T616 might have better RF performance than the 610? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
