Switch from Telus to Rogers? (HELP!!!!)
I have been using telus for the past 5 years, ok service and good reception, at least in Markham\ Toronto.
But their phones just SUCK, and if you live in Canada, you know what i mean.
So I am planning (thinking) the big switch, from Telus to Rogers.
But I've also heard that Rogers reception is not very good.
My question to you all is that...
1. Is Rogers reception that much worse than Telus?
2. Is Quad-band much better than Tri?
thanks in advance

Newfoundland Coverage
Looks like Fido (GSM 1900) has a small footprint in St Johns/Mount Pearl. Rogers (GSM 850/1900) seams to have a large footprint in the area.
I am on Cingular GSM in USA with 850/1800/1900 Nokia 6230.
Anyone in that area have coverage feedback?
Thanks...
WHY CAN'T TELUS RECEIVE PIX FROM ROGERS?
does any1 know why??
Samsung A600 - BellMobility
I am with Bell Mobility and my current Audiocrap phone died. I want a good camera phone and am looking at Samsung A600. I went to Bell and stated the phone but said I would only purchase it onn the condition I can buy software and a data cable either through them or aftermarket that will let me download photo's for free to my computer. I was informed that the only way to transfer pictures is to purchase ANOTHER STUPID 10$ BUNDLE. I called Samsung and they said there is after market cables and software that is available that will do that even though bell claimed it was impossible without buying there online feature. I have been to several web sites and only company that says they have the cables and software is Datapilot.com but it...

Fido-Sympatico-Sony Z600: infernal trio?
I'm having a nightmare configuring WAP (Cellphone Web/e-mail services) on my Z-600 with Fido as carrier and Sympatico e-mail service provider. Sony's Z600 Internet configuration menus are confusing, to say the least, Sympatico's PCS registration service doesn't work with Z600. I got news, weather, sports, etc from Sympatico wireless but no PIN for my PCS. I went to Sony WAP auto-config webpage for WAP-enabled phone, only to find that Canada is not on its supported country list (but Cameroun and Cape-Verde are, I think) Fido tech service is out of the loop. For now, it looks to me that WAP is still a work in progress in Canada and it holds true for a relatively small carrier like Microcell.
Is it just me or somebody else ...
